Every day i say basically the same words to my birds.
"hello", "Pretty birds", "pretty pretty birds", "You want some food","I have food for you"
And as I was delivering the twice daily fresh fruits and veggie tray to my birds and I had just said "you want some food" I heard (out of charlie) The same tone pattern and the way I said it to " I have food for you" I never ever thought Charlie of all birds would talk. Even though It was not very clear you could tell that it was what he was trying to say. Kindle my other parakeet imicks squiekie toys but I never would have thought Charlie would have talked. I am so proud of them. I would like to thank Antoinette SOOOO MUUUCCHH. If it was not for her support and help I do not think Charlie would have spoken. Did I mention this was the biggest goals I hoped to acheive with Charlie after stepping up. Now I can move on to different sayings ( and set a new gaol) lol. I Love my birds!!
