Is Your Christmas Tree Up?

Well, is it? lol.

I bought a new artificial tree last year and just got it down out of the attic today. I wonder how long it will sit this year before it is taken out of the box and decorated. Any volunteers to come and do it for me?

We will be going up in the mountains soon to get one! Its a yearly tradition of ours to go in the snow to find a good one then we make a fire and have hot coco! Schatzi, my dog, goes in her fluffy warm coat! Its a blast!

Nope No one really does the decorating in my family, except for me, i am usually the tinsel decorator around the house, and put up the tree!

But there is not really a christmas spirit in our house at the moment :54:So no one has said anything about it, and i doubt they will

Nope, and I doubt we'll put one up because there's no room for a tree in my place lol my in-laws put one up every year though...but they usually wait till the week of Christmas to do it

Sounds awesome! I always wanted a white Christmas. Send some snow to middle Georgia!!! Fields of cotton just doesn't cut it. hahaha.

tree has been up a week now. would have been up sooner, but I dragged my feet going to get a new one. can't let my wife have her way all the time.

We haven't put one up for the last couple of years and I'm not sure we will this year, which would be a shame. We've been collecting bird ornaments for the last year

Ok, you guys who have your trees up for a week are weird. j/k lol. Thanksgiving just finished. I like Christmas carols, but one radio station has been playing them exclusively since November 1. By the time Christmas does actually arrive, I am sick of hearing them. There are only so many Christmas carols and the only difference is the artist.

NO, I AM NOT A GRINCH! It's just that the Christmas season starts earlier than the previous year. For the first time in 14 years, I did not go shopping on Black Friday. It felt nice sleeping in and not having to deal with 29* temps while standing outside in the dark and fighting for that special something that I spent hours waiting to get.

two weeks before xmas we go to a christmas tree farm, hop onto a horse draw wagon with a bunch of people, taken deep into the woods then look for a tree to chop down ourselves.

then when we come back, we sit by a huge fire and sip hot chocolate or apple cider.

it's one of our favourite things to do at christmas!!!

I think the only way a person in the US can go into the woods to cut a tree has to be on a tree farm or we would be arrested for molesting our national forest. lol.

"We" normally do it the weekend after Thanksgiving. That didn't happen last year because our Mike was in boot camp. It didn't happen this year because we missed Mike.

It's going up next weekend - NO excuses.

We bought ours tonight! Can't find our good tree stand. The one we found is junk. The tree won't stay up.

We have it leaning against the wall. Off tomorrow to get a new tree stand!

No Tree yet, but my moms Christmas village is up, and the staircase has its normal lights and wreaths on it. I went outside and hung up the lights that line the front porch. Tuesday I might go on the roof and hang up the lights that line the gutter.
