Just a silly/for fun thread.

I've noticed Pixel only uses her left foot to hold things, and almost always steps up with her left foot first. I also recall reading somewhere that, unlike humans, parrots are most often left footed. Being a leftie myself I found that quite interesting!

Which is your bird?

Interesting! I haven't really paid much attention to which foot Penny uses more. Although, I'm pretty sure I've seen her hold her foot toys with both feet, so maybe she's ambidextrous!

Rowdy is left, Pete is left and Merlin is right. My BCC was also right. So my experience thus far is 50% of each! Yes, I notice these things as well. I try to always choose right handed horses as I'm stronger on my left leg and we balance each other out better, lol!

Merlin's left foot is splayed and somewhat 'broken' so he uses his right, HOWEVER, he does 'try' to use his left... so maybe he's a leftie stuck in a righties body?

hmmm!

I've read about research projects that studied parrots; the findings were that most parrots are left-footed. If that's true, then Ralph is in the majority; he usually holds food and toys with his left foot. My brother is happy about that, 'cause now he's not the only "leftie" in the family. :D
