- Yuko [M] - Yellow headed Budgie. [Healthy, Tame.]
Snowii [F] - BV dilute opaline lovebird. [Healthy, hand-raised.]
Luna [F] - Indigo budgie. [RIP,.]
Recently I've asking a lot of questions on the forum, I highly apologize for that-
Snowii is handraised by me, thus being very trust-ful and affectionate towards me. That is, until she became hormonal.
she's been hormonal for a month or two ever since my budgie lost his mate and started being affectionate towards her. she does turn him down, but she is so bitey.
usually she lets me grab her head lightly with four fingers, she doesn't seem bothered. But now she's so weary that she barely shows any affection towards me, but she has trust. she's busy finding a hiding/laying site, or busy going into my sleeve if i ever take her out, (which really makes my heart ache). today, she laid her 9th egg and the more eggs she lays, the more concerned i become. I think the reason she even comes out of the cage is to shred something-
is it normal for a bird to be so hateful toward their owner whom they trusted and had affection towards when hormonal? is it possible that she'll never turn back into normal?
again, apologies for crazy amounts of questions im asking ever since she started being hormonal -
thank you ^^
