is this a good cage for an IRN?

I am looking at cages for an IRN and it would be nice to have another person confirm that they are good so he doesn't get hurt.

I have the 3rd cage for my ringneck and he is sooo happy in it he sometimes doesnt want to come out and play!

My recommendation is 32” MINIMUM width for an IRN, bigger is obviously better. I don’t allow my babies to go home to anything smaller even if it’s supposedly “just a sleep cage.” I tell people to plan the cage for your worst day, not your best day. Get a cage for the 6 months your spouse has a life threatening illness and the bird is stuck in the cage all the time, not for the plan to have the bird out of the cage all the time, because on your best day your bird will be with you, but on your worst day your bird will be in his cage.

This is mine. I struggled to find one with the right bar spacing that met the minimum dimensions on the INSIDE and not just on the outside, which isn't always even provided. I'm very happy with it, just don't try to stick a poor macaw inside it like one of the reviewers.
