Has your bird said things that actually make you think..........

Is this a bird or a human communicating?

When I return home from work, Mishka says to me every day Mommy I missed you today

Mommy did you go to work today why mommy why? :(

Today he totally shocked me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was asking Steven why he parked his car way to back in the garage, leaving me with very little space to park.
Mishka chirps in and says
mommy whats wrong?

Amazing how he knew something was wrong.
;)

LOL, Grey's are super super smart! I love them for their intelligence. And that's really really cute!

Birds are so intelligent, and greys totally know what some of the words they are saying. Especially if you try to teach them the meaning.

Oh, Mishka TOTALLY know's what he's saying. Trixter BLOWS my mind sometimes, for example, I'll pick him up and say "Hi my baby, Mommy loves you" and he'll look STRAIGHT at me and say "What?", I'll repeat it and he'll say "OHHHhhhhh, love you, OHHH" He's done that twice now, and that is just ONE of many "communication" experiences I've had with that crazy bird. If he see's me, he say's, "Come here!! Oh, Come ONNN, Come here, Please" I love it, they for SURE know what they're saying, for sure.

Was there really any doubt? Birds are just miniature people in tight fitting feather clothes! We all know that!

Ok so I am sitting here reading this thread and thinking " yep I sure think they know" and no sooner is the thought out of my head than I hear Puffin...." Oi, snoop, don't do that, get down Snoop" (Snoop is one of our cats) So I get up to go look and see Snoop in mid flight jumping down from the bench where she knows she is not allowed and Puff then says "good girl Snoop". You will never convince me that it is coincidence!

i dont believe when people say parrots only repeat what you say,
i have long stories i will tell later about birds i have owned on this forum,
one of them was from my late timneh freddy r.i.p. he was 22 years old,

one evening my wifes grandmother came up to the next door fence, (she couldnt see freddy)
and called out to my wife,, SUSAN ? , ,, freddy ,, YEA ?
grandma,,,ARE YOU COMING OVER FOR TEA ? ,, freddy ,,YEA COMMING FOR TEA,
grandma,, dont forget to switch off your gas cooker,,freddy YEAH GAS OFF,,
so grandma went inside, after 15 mins my wife came home from the bakers
and i told her your grandma was talking to the parrot, but shes waiting for you to go for tea,
so you can guess how embaressed grandma was when she found out who she was talking
to as freddy sounded exactly like my wifes voice,
also he woolf whistled when the two neighbour girls walked by the back garden and his eyes rolled
around and around, and did a sexy walk on his perch.
sadly he left us quite young.

good luck with mishka
