Is PVC okay for my goffins cockatoo?

I’ve been thinking of hanging a few sections of white PVC for my goffins cockatoo to explore and crawl through. Would it be safe for her?

Yep yep...I have tons of homemade perches, stands, and a massive play-gym that takes-up half my bedroom made from PVC piping and fittings. It's cheap, easy to work with, and safe...

If you make anything out of PVC piping that your bird is meant to stand/perch on, you have to make sure of two things though:

1.) It's the correct diameter piping for your bird's feet (for a Goffin you probably want to use 1" piping)
2.) That you wrap any sections that the bird is meant to stand/perch on in Vet Wrap, because they cannot stand/perch/walk on bare PVC pipes, they slip-off almost immediately...And the Vet Wrap is very safe and totally digestible if they happen to chew on it...And easy to remove and re-wrap when it gets dirty/ragged...I buy my Vet Wrap at Tractor Supply, it's extremely cheap there, less than half the cost of it at any pet store like Petco or Petsmart, and a fraction of what it costs at Walmart believe it or not (I don't know why Walmart is so expensive)...Tractor Supply sells two different widths of Vet Wrap, both 1" and 2", and they sell it in individual rolls for like $1, and packs of 4 for $3...And they have tons and tons of different solid colors and designs too...Camo, leopard print, stripes, etc...And every solid color imaginable...

For PVC Piping and Fittings, Lowes is by-far the best place to go...They have 10 times the amount of in-store product that Home Depot has for some reason, and their fittings cost literally half the price of that of Home Depot...And Lowes also sells bags of 10 of the most-common fittings in all different diameters of piping too. Home Depot doesn't have any assortment at all, and their fittings are 4 times the price as those at Lowes.
