Hi Regan what a Beauty you have...if you are worried that your parrot is underweight then you should bring him for a vet check...he's a Gorgeous Boy
 
She went in a week or two ago for a feather curling issue. We were told to change to pellets (which I was planning to anyway) and more fruit and veg and she's been eating the greens. I just think she's not satisfied from going from a predominantly sunflower seed and grain mix at the breeders to pellets. She does get sunflower seeds as treats still
 
So, call your Vet's office and get his weight from the last visit.

If you want to keep track, there are any number of small scales on the market. I would recommend that you get one that has the ability to provide the same measurement that your Vet uses.

Looking at a parrot is not a proper way to determine if it is over-weight.
