Last night I made GreyCee's formula and I tried to feed her but she keeps turning her head away tried for about 2 hours with no luck.
We had a good laugh as every time I brought the syringe close to her it sounds like she said "No...No...No" but I think she is to youth to start talking but she will be saying NO because that's what we say to you little yorkie because he is so naughty :53:

Does this mean that she is weaned? and that she prefers her fruit, veg and seed/pellet mix.
Should I keep trying with the formula? I don't want to force her and make her scared of me we have build good trust this far.

Is she eating her fruits and veggies, plus pellets???? How many times are you hand feeding her a day?

I feed her 1 formula feed at night at 18h00 as per the breeder she eats seed/pellets and her fruit & veg during the course of the day.

I took my RFM a week early but he was weaned. He did regress and needed to be hand fed for a few weeks while he adjusted to relocating to our home and getting to know us. It took about three weeks to get him down to only the before bed night comfort hand feeding.

He will be 8 months on the 12th and still is taking the night feeding but I have changed the formula over to pulverized pellets instead of the baby formula. Valentino eats fine on his own and really does not need the before bed comfort feeding anymore but I continue because if I ever have to medicate him it will be easy to do it though a hand feeding. He takes 30 cc's at this night feeding. If he takes less he will pull head away and lift his talon up like a teen who gives you the palm and says "talk to the hand". It is his way of saying "I am done."

If your grey's weight has been stable and you are happy with it it would be alright to stop the hand feeding. Skip one night of the feeding and see if your grey eats more that day. When the time for the night feeding arrives try to hand feed again but if the parrot refuses and the weight is stable she would then be weaned.
