Is it possible to mate younger male with older female

I have a female lutino from the first clutch of my lovebirds and a male love bird I don't know the name of that specie so I was wondering if they got along together or not because I was watching them and when ever female tries to approach male male ran way from here like he was scared can the made bond together?? And please also identify the name of the other species.

If I'm not mistaken both are inos, one green line and the other blue line. Breeding with two inos is not a good idea since the babies could be weak.

Creamino would be more correct... although, creamino is a term for a par-blue ino, and there are 2 par-blue mutations which can be combined to create "3" mutations. (basically, different shades between the two mutations)

As long as both birds are mature enough to mate and breed, then yes, you can mate an older bird to a younger bird. If the younger bird is too young, this could result in problems for the younger bird.
