King the eclectus, a white face cockatiel, and a quaker.
My elcectus has been banging his head against stuff in his cage like his toys and the bottom of the cage and he's started biting.

Ok thank you I didn't know and he just started doing it so I thought I'd ask.

Just to be sure, do you mean he's banging his head against things, or his beak? And how old is your little guy? And is he biting people, or the things in his cage?

Males will often times bonk their beaks on stuff, like knocking, but if its his head he is banging then no I have never seen that. You're not listening to mosh music are you?:p
Does everything else seem normal about his behavior? As far as the biting is this new? All of mine really enjoy foot toys and shred-able stuff on the bottom of their cages and can get quite rowdy tossing it around while playing.

My ekki on rare occasions will bang his beak when he's frustrated. For example, yesterday when he hopped onto Skittles' cage, I removed him, after which he began to bang his beak. For Ziggy it's out of frustration I think for not having been able to get his way. He doesn't really care for the other birds, and he likes to climb onto the outside of their cages to torment them.

He turns 1 this month and its like the base of this beak that he's banging and he just stared biting people and he just dose it when he been in his cage for awhile and he listens to music a lot but he doesn't do I when he listens to it.

My eckies often bang their beaks on things, especially new toys or objects they haven't encountered before.:green:

As regards the banging of the beak, it could mean any number of things depending on your particular bird and his mood at the time. My eclectus doesn't really tend to bang things with his beak... so far, but the cockatiel I had did. And for many different reasons.
Happiness: He would play pretty rough with his toys all the time, and he enjoyed it.
Signalling: If he had finished his food and was ready for more, he would bang his cup to let me know that I was slacking. (In his exalted opinion. Lol!)
Warning: If someone he didn't like was approaching his cage, he would bang his beak against the bars to let them know that he meant business!

So the reason for the beak banging can vary. You'll get a better idea as you continue to observe the circumstances whenever he does.

The biting, however, sounds territorial. I say this because you mentioned that he does it when he's been in his cage for a while. Was I reading what you were saying correctly? Does he bite mostly when he's in or near his cage? And how severely? Does he bruise or draw blood? Or is it more of a nip?

It's more of a nip and yes it's just when he in his cage but not all the time just when he's been banging his beak and thanks.
