Probably yes - a sun conure but at this moment I can't really tell if not a sunday - hybrid between these two conures

Surprise! Not a Jenday.

If I remember right, weren't people saying you couldn't tell them apart quite yet(species) until they were a little older? I don't know conures, just thought I remembered people saying that, and I wonder if this is why?

When they are young, both jendays and suns have green on their wings. It's the SUNS only that molt the green on the wings that become all yellow in time.

This looks to be a juvenile sun conure. By the time its done molting and maturing in 2 years it will likely have mostly all yellow on the wings. What is the age of your bird??

There is also the possibility of having a SUNDAY -- a sun conure x jenday conure hybrid, which at maturity will have both green and yellow wings at maturity. I've seen them before and they are also quite pretty.

Rocky is only a matter of months old if I remember right. He was just a baby chick when Inisar first shared about him. What is he now, 4-6 months old or something? A cutie for sure!

Looks like he is exhibiting Pied traits
What is his diet, as I have seen before parrots of all sort looking like they are changing, but after a good quality diet change they return back to normal
Very common in finches
Thanks
