This is Sammie's clutch mate. I've named him/her Sydney. The people I got him from only had him 2 months. They bought him with the misunderstanding that he might make their Quaker quieter, instead the Quaker taught him to scream. You know that story.

Awww, Karen, Sydney is gorgeous! I am so thrilled that you ended up bringing Sydney home with you!!!! Is that the cage she/he came with? Are you going to DNA?

Congrats Karen!! Sydney is such a little cutie. I'm so glad it ended up working out. It was meant to be I think :D

Terry, yes and yes. We have an appt at my vet at 1050 tomorrow. I'll have him/her sexed and have Dr. White run the usual tests. Right now they are contact calling each other. I hope they get over that :)

I got the bigger cage and the people who took the Quaker got the smaller cage. This one is perfect.

Congrats to both you you and Sydney. Are you going to try caging Sammie and Sydney together if they get along and are same sex? The idea if best bud siblings is too cute not to ask. :)

Nope, no caging together. I figure if they don't actively seek and destroy we will be doing good.

You did went ahead and got Sydney! Congrats! What a beautiful baby Sydney is. :)

What a cutie bug. I'm glad you chose Sidney. I'm curious though how both Sennie's will get along, have you put the two together yet? At least one can't bite the head off of the other like Mac the Eclectus tried to do to Tiki every time they got close to one another.

He/she is going to the vet today and once they get the all clear I'll put their cages side by side to see what they think. So far they've been contact calling each other.

I'm looking forward to the yellow eyes. I love baby grey eyes, but the yellow eyes are so pretty

I love the yellow eyes they get. So striking on the gray head. Does it happen at about a year old?

Wow, you got a steal on that cage! Can't wait to hear what the vet says:)

Good question, I really don't know. Even though they share a hatch date you can see Sammie's are starting to turn, but Sydney's are still pretty grey.
