Hello,
My wife and I have owned our Congo African Grey (Storm) for about 3 and a half years now. We've been talking for a while about possible adopting another parrot, both because we love birds and also because we thought it could be a good companion for Storm. The bird we adopt would most likely be a cockatoo, amazon, or smaller macaw.
Have any of you added another parrot to your flock? How has your grey gotten along with it? How did you go about introducing it and figuring out if they would get along safely (I'm nervous about another bird either hurting Storm, or Storm hurting the other bird).
Storm is a bit spoiled, we build her a large indoor aviary in one of the bedrooms. She spends most of her time in there when she is not out in the living room hanging out with us.
I'm basically wondering if there are any specific species of birds that Greys tend to (or tend to NOT) get along with?
