Well, as some of you may know yesterday I was going to be bringing home my new cockatiel! When I went to go pick her up the owner mentioned that she had some other 'tiels that she was considering selling. When I went to look at them I absolutly fell in love with a Male Lutino that she had. I asked if I could hold him and he was just the sweetest bird ever! He didn't nip or try to get away, he just sat there on my finger observing the world around him. The owner saw how well we were getting along and she said she wouldn't mind giving him to me!

So, instead of bringing home the female 'tiel I planned on. I brought home Mr. NoName! He is about a year old and he is perfect for me. It's almost like he chose me to be his owner. :) Im still trying to figure out his personality but, I can already tell he is going to be sassy!
Now I just need to figure out what to name him! Suggestions are welcome!

Now for pictures!! :yellow1:

^My favorite picture! He has been watching the cars drive by for hours...

Wow, what an amazing looking bird! He looks very healthy, with nice bright, soft feathers. The previous owner definitely took good care of him. He seems really calm and relaxed in those pictures.

It might take a few more days of watching him to get to know him better and figure out a name that fits his personality.

Hmm...what do you know about him so far? He's apparently very curious and like you said he likes to look in the window. He's friendly and outgoing, and he seemed to bond to you very fast. I can't think of any good names yet either, but those are great characteristics you know about him so far and I'm sure you'll figure a name out soon!

I named my parakeet Chipper because when I first saw him at the bird farm, he seemed very happy and nothing bothered him. He was climbing around the cage a lot and was very curious. He was the only bird that actually looked right at me and made eye contact with me...so it was like he chose me too. I just somehow knew he was the right one. When people say that an animal chooses you, I think there is something to that. You make a connection with them that is hard to explain...you just know it when you feel it.

You should definitely name him Noname. I named our cat Noname and it was the greatest name. I loved seeing the vet notes whenever we got the invoice - it would say "Noname is his name". That cat lived to be 21 years old!

You'll start saying "Noname" so much that you won't even think about what it was originally meant to convey and it will be his name :)

Your lutino is a beauty and it looks well taken care of. I'm sure in time as you bond with him, a name will come to you out of nowhere. Congratulations.

He's cute ! As I like saying , " The human doesn't choose the bird, the bird chooses the human ! " congrats on the addition !

Well hello Mr. Nemo (Latin word meaning "no man" or "no one").
