So adorable! Congrats! :D

Nice addition to your flock :)

Congratulations! He is adorable. I too am mommy to a new baby Hahns. My Hahnna is just about 12 weeks now. They are so smart. She is saying step up, what's up and also mumbling other things. She is not super clear yet, but you can understand her. How many hand feedings a day is your baby on, and how many grams does he weight? Just curious since Hahnna is my first. She is weighing in at around 127 grams and I have her on 3 hand feedings a day, although I think she is getting ready to wean off one. Also how much is he eating? They told me 12cc and nothing more, but I found she wanted more so I give her a bit more, and just feel her crop. I also do not believe in force weaning. I let her tell me when she is ready. She is eating a lit on her own too. Elaine and Hanna.

Hi Elaine,
Kero is weaned. He eats amazingly well. It feels like he eats non-stop. He's actually large for a hahns. I don't have his actual weight but I've held others and he's bigger than any other I've held.

Yes, Hahnna too was bigger i. Her clutch. Her sister was much smaller. i know you cannot tell the difference between male and female without DNA but when I first saw her, I would have sworn she was a male because she had a boxy head and more robust. As it turned out both in the clutch DNA'd female. We just saw her sister the other day and she is still much smaller. I cannot say how her size compares to any other Hahn's babies because she and her sister are the only two I have held and have seen in person. i think Hahnna is getting ready to wean off at least her middle bottle. I could probably even wean her down to just one but I don't believe in force weaning. What do you feed your baby? I have mine in something called the Ultimate blend. Bird Paradise mixes it themselves. No sunflower seeds, a lot of nits, dried veggies, natural pellets etc. plus a lot of fresh veggies, and fruits, along with a whole variety of mixed nuts. The food she eats, humans can eat. hubby actually tried it and said it was good. LOL.

Kero eats a mix of fruits, some seed, and nuts. I usually buy the no sunflower seed version. When I got Kero I asked for some of what they were feeding him and it was FULL of sunflower seeds so I've switched him over to my mix. I also cook pasta and steam veggies.
