Oh Mary, they are all gorgeous!!!! When did these Beauties join your flock?

How precious love the pics.. Hmm that's odd I thought there are 2 babies :) you're budgieitis have a last minute flare up? Lol or did Houdini pull a magic trick on ya & appear into the flock?

They are all just lovely can't wait to hear all about them :)

Wow what beauties they are and got a feeling we will be hearing a bit from little Houdini?

Mary, I can't believe I underestimated your budgieitis affliction. One of your previous posts was filled with red flags and a plea for help! I am so glad all of us failed to intervene! Your new flock babies are darling. Welcome lovely Lady Primrose, Baby Nellow and adorable Houdini. Looking forward to updates! They are precious, I think you've found the perfect cure for your illness.

The day I was missing off the forum ...they arrived Thursday. There was a problem with the yellow babies and they had to be taken from the nest early...the parents abandoned them so I've been hand feeding. They are eating weaning food now too aswell as their formula but taking less and less of the formula as the days roll on and beginning to push veggies about...no veggies sampled yet though.
Houdini was a surprise even to me but as soon as I saw him on Thursday I had to have him...he's parent raised but a real character and afraid of nothing...his first hour here at home he unscrewed the screw on the feeder door of the cage snd let himself out and went exploring. He made his way to my shopping bag where he opened a honey seed bar unwraped the top of it and decided he would throw himself a home coming party and binged on the honey seed bar LoL he went to bed swolen full of honeyed seed hee hee ...that was how he got the name Houdini he escaped from a locked cage and vanished and reappeared in my shopping bag dinig out LoL :)

Hee hee Budgieitis flare up is right...I agree though these 4 are the perfect cure and it was just luck that I found little Houdini..hes my very first English Budgie. He came from a wonderful breeder ...only has a few budgies 3 pairs and they live in his home ...no interaction with other birds so I didnt have to observe any quarrentine with little Houdini and he met Elsa already. The babies are in quarrentine and wont be mixing with Elsa and Houdini until the Quarrentine period is over.
Here is Houdini being introduced to Elsa

:18: That cracked me up Allee... It's so true. I'm also glad that we failed to intervene :D!

Mary, they all look so sweet and beautiful :). I can tell you're doing a great job raising the babies. Lady Primrose is a stunning color mutation, Little Nellow is precious! I love that name too. And Houdini... I believe that perfect name for him :)! Even budgies can escape their cages... never underestimate the little parrots ;).

Looking forward to seeing and hearing more!

Hahaha, Houdini had to throw his own homecoming party, what a wonderful little character. Funny enough if he only escaped his cage but even funnier that he searched and found his own party favors! Hilarious, I love him. Oh my, what a combination, Elsa and Hudini, the show must go on.

Yes he thinks Im not feeding him the goodies he aught to have so he steals out and helps himself...I can see Im going to have my hands full with this guy and when I scratch him behind his ear his whole head just puffs up to at least twice its size LoL little cheeks and all puff up :)
