Lesaer Sulfur Crested Cockatoo
So I'd thought I'd take a minute to introduce my Baby. Baby is a 10 year old Lesser sulfur crested cockatoo :white1: she came to me a mono ago when my neighbor miss sue passed away. She took about a week to adjust and I'm sure she really misses miss sue. I miss miss Sue.
Baby isn't much of a screamer, only twice a day an episode in the morning and at night when she's not ready to go night night. She talks a lot. She say hello, hi baby, I love you, night night, come here, and she calls me mommy. She's head over heels in love with my husband but knows all the good stuff comes from Mommy. She doesn't like my son. He's 5 and baby will chase him down like a dog. My daughters will talk to her but I think they're scared of her.

As soon as I figure out how to get a pic on here I will.

Hey love to see Baby, what sad circumstances. Perhaps work on the not liking your son, fair amount of parrots not keen on kids for some reason. Do some work on this before it gets set in stone with Baby. Follow tips on bonding and building trust. Looking forward to pics and good you could take Baby in.

I'm 75% positive, it's because smaller childrens fingers and toes look like delicious parrot sausages. :D

And welcome to you and baby Ginabean, glad to have you here.

Baby

Yay, what a beautiful girl she is. Wishing you many years of happiness with her.

PS rotate and save pic before uploading LOL.

Baby is beautiful!! Pics are always welcome!!

Baby is probably going through a mourning process as well as the "honeymoon" of living with a new family.
