I have a conure who insists on chewing the bars of her cage. I don't know why she does this we have tried toys, treats adding new foraging opportunities nothing is working. I can't get her to stop it is driving me nuts and not healthy for her. Help please any ideas?

Try taking her out for playtime more often, away from the cage as much as possible. Depending on the type of cage, birds can get metal poisoning if they chew too much.

I don't know any other ways that I can help, sorry!

HI one of my guys does this alot. A take it as a hint that he wants out. Although I know it's not good to reinforce behaviours you don't want I can't help but going over and talking to him. You can try a bitterapple type product I saw one made specifically for birds somwhere I'll try to find it. Just make sure your cage is strong enough to withstand normal chewing. You can also try hanging toys from the sides of the cage all over instead of the top as much so they have to interact with the toy in someway to get to their favorite spots.
