So I believe Lincoln might of gotten a hold of rat poop I'm not a 100% sure but I'm super worried and I want to know if there's anything I can do prior to taking him to a vet. Anyway I can get him to regurgitate or ?? Usually theres never any rat poop he can get a hold of because the base of my rat cage is really deep so nothing every falls out but somehow something might of fallen out and landed on the floor.
The only other thing it could of really been was a chunk of pellet that fell to the floor but im not willing to take that risk. I couldn't get a good look at it because when I'd try to take it away from him he'd just hide it under his tongue and bite at me.

Ended up calling the vet and they said majority of rat parasites and diseases wont transfer over to a bird but to just keep an eye on him. I changed out the newpapers in the bottom of his cage so I can look for abnormal poop and for the time being he's cage bound. If I see anything abnormal, he's immediately going in.

He's not happy with being cage bound, I feel really bad but it's for his own good right now D:

Good news! They're your rats!!! This greatly limits the 'exposure' to all the stuff that wild rats would normally be carrying around and/or into!

Lessen learned! Lots of Loving on Lincoln after he comes off being GROUNDED!

Lots of water, lots of water, lots of water!

Lincoln bad boy - don't eat the poop. Or the yellow snow, that is not recommended ( That Frank Zappa guy was pretty smart after all ).

Different note - did Lincoln get the foraging toy? Successful?

Yes! He's still unsure of it and preferring the wheel but I'm trying to get him to use it. Right now he's just "waht the heck is this... my wheel has better almonds"
