So far Indigo is doing really well and even enjoyed some head scratches from us for the first time. He is a chatterbox! I can why someone who thought they were getting a quiet, laid back species returned him as he has a LOUD whistle/contact call. It is not often though and we are working on rewarding light whistles and chirps and it is going well. He also is very active and even swings on his boing by grabbing nearby toys and pulling them toward him and then letting them go. He is all over his cage too, climbing, chewing, etc. I find it endearing and absolutely delightful! I must admit that I am a bit nervous about the possible hormonal aggression that may come down the road. At least it seems as though it dies down after a few years. The owner of the store gave me two weeks to decide on him because of his noise level, but right now I'd say he is here for good.
