i am searching for parrots or any small to medium birds that need a new home for free or at a low fee of $60 or less. i am very experienced with all types of birds. i am mostly interested in conures, cockatiels, parakeets, lovebirds, parrolets, caiques, and any small to medium bird. it will be going to a great home where it will be given lots and lots of attention. i am located in Georgia. Thank you.

Please be VERY careful of this type of post; not always, but this kind of post USUALLY indicates a hoarder or a flipper. Beware and deeply research before relinquishing your pet to someone asking for them like this.

Aidee,
It would be nice to hear more about you. How have you gained your experience? Most of us love our Fids to much to let them go. There are very few rehomings on this site. Occasionally circumstances do arise where people have to find a new home for their bird. Do you have other birds now?

I agree with SilverSage, not to be rude or accusatory towards the OP, but the Rescue I work at checks all the local Craigslist pet-pages within a 2-hour drive daily, and this is exactly the type of post that we see every single day on Craigslist, posted by people who adopt any animals they can get for free, and then you see the exact same animal being "re-homed" on the very same Craigslist page a week later with a "re-homing fee" that is usually hundreds of dollars (especially if it's a parrot, a pure-bred dog, or any type of exotic pet)...I'm not trying to say that this is what this person is doing, but anyone who is openly asking to "adopt" parrots for free is usually a flipper or a hoarder...And obviously they don't have the money to pay for a parrot from a breeder or a pet shop, so that also means they can't afford Vet care for them either...
