Impacted Crop in Budgie

Hi all! We think our one budgie has an impacted crop --- we thought he was just gaining weight but think it might be that instead. His behavior is completely normal (eating and drinking fine, vocalizing, playing) but he's looking kinda barrel chested.

We've called around and won't be able to see a vet for a few days (we have an appointment Monday morning). I'm nervous about if it is okay to wait that long and thought I'd see what the group thinks! Is this more emergent and warrants an ED visit for our little guy? Appreciate any insights!
