and I aint liken it to much and starting to feel a little jealeous. I've started to notice as of the past 3-4 days that Tiki has started taking to my wife more and more. She got to where she could pet her head and give Tiki scratches for about the past month. Before that Tiki wouldn't hardly have anything to do with my wife. But now, she wants to go to where my wife is and perch on her hand or shoulder and prance around with her wings dropped down cooing. If I put her on the floor, she automatically heads straight to my wife.

Wouldn't you just know it. Here I buy her $50.00 worth of toys and after a day or two of playing with them, she casts me aside like an old shoe. It brings flaskbacks of a few dates that I had years ago that kind of turned out the same way.:(

Awwww poor Mike! I do know how you feel though. Max seems to like my boyfriend more. And Jon likes Max okay, but he doesn't spend any time with my bird, really. I mean he'll pet him and talk to him if he is in the room, but he doesn't sit in the room and feed Max or spend any real quality time with him. I am glad that he likes Jon though because my Amazon was very much a one person bird.

Poor mike, well you know what you gadda do.

kick out the wife and hord the bird to yourself. (snicker) ofcorse, you could just try and be friends with your bird when your wifes out of the house...

give her your card and tell her to go shopping once a week?
