Jasper- Lady English Budgie
I have an English Budgie, Jasper. When I got her, everybody said it was a male....and while she was a 'he' she let me pet her and totally enjoyed it. As soon as I figured she was a girl, not a boy, she began behaving like a 'by the book' female budgie. Protects her woman cave, gets dolphin-noise-angry at me with displeasure if I'm not doing something she approves of. Long story short, I'm on her time now.
Outside of the silly reason, why would a budgie all of a sudden decide the feel good head scratching was no longer desired? She hasn't been mis-treated or mis-rubbed or any other sexual issues. Any thoughts or experiences?
