I think I hit the birdie jackpot again:). Day two with Poppy.

Well, she came off the plane very flighty and scared- which I expected. What I didn't expect was a complete turnaround in less than 24 hours. She begs to be out of her cage and will climb right up and snuggle against my neck. She loves head scratches and preening my hair, oh and food! She is not picky. Lol. and makes the cutest and quietest little peep peep noises I have ever heard. I feel so lucky to have a third baby that seems to be so happy and content right from the get go! Here is Poppy and I as we are getting to know eachother. Isn't she just the cutest little peanut?! (Excuse my bad hair day. It's my birthday tomorrow so I decided to treat myself to some lazies this afternoon)

I'll welcome some cheekiness. Lol. Crimson bellied conures are said to be less nippy than GCC's but even if she were nippy- My Sun is a sass and loves to nip at me so I can handle it. The goofiness of these little conures is so dang endearing!
