So, Nick comes home from work today and starts drilling and sawing away in the other room, I walk in to find this...

Apparently he is building a giant play gym for the birds I'm not sure how fancy it's going to be since he making it entirely out of thing we have laying around and there doesn't seem to be too much planning going on, but he apparently has a vision and I'm just gonna let him go with it

Haha, me too. We tend to get into arguments when he takes on projects like this. I took woodworking all through high school and even outside of school I made a lot of custom built reptile enclosures out of wood. I'm one of those people that always has to have the right tool for the job, only uses things for what they're meant for kind of person. He's more rednecky, I'll make it work kind of person lol. I love that he is as involved with the animals as I am though and I think it's sweet that he wants to make them something so I'm just gonna let him go with it, but I'll be sure he only uses things that are safe of course.

Hey, if you can use stuff you have laying around, all the better, right? I know you just bought the 2 zons, a new cage for another bird, it's heating season and right after Christmas. Good for him!

Oh, and I'm just as messy as any guy doing my projects. Have you ever been through a full kitchen remodel? There is no worse or more disruptive mess, lol! I just happened to have met a new bf when I was doing mine. He kept wanting to know why I hadn't had him over. I kept telling him the kitchen is destroyed, you can't see this. Finally he insisted because he was sure I was trying to hide a live in bf. So I let him come over. He was here all of 20 minutes, told me had to leave for coffee (said no when I offered to make him some), and then I didn't hear from him again for 4 days, lol! By then I had figured him a lost cause. I said well, I told you over and over it was the most horrible mess I've ever made! It's your fault for not believing me!
