a beautiful baby Cinn. Turq. girl Beanie =)
hey guys as you may knoe i just got Beanie 2 days ago well this is about poop and diet lol and i knoe alot of questions arise from good ole' poo lol well her poop looks brown like i guess it would be her pee but when i had her out today which is only for about 5mins and she went to the bathroom nd it looked kind of runny but i dont knoe for sure since i had her up high so it was in like na scatter plot on the floor but i havent fed her vegitables so that might be why her poo is like that and she eats alot of apple i might be feeding her too much apple or not enough water or it might b the veggie thing i just got veggies yestruday and i plan on giving her some when i get home any help or advice would be greatly appricated thanks

I would guess she is still settling into her new home & is getting to know you. When you have her out of the cage she maybe a little stressed so of course it will show by a runny dropping. Once calm they should return to normal. Start her on a variety of fruit & veg ASAP so she doesn't turn into a fussy bird. All my GCC are little eating machines. Sometimes i have to wonder where they put all that food. LOL.

Loco's poo changes consistancy depending on how much fruit/seeds/pellets/nuts/sprouts he eats. It's also changes colour BIG time from red (carrots and strawberries) to green or brown etc. Sometimes his poo's have a bit of liquid in them. I'd get Beanie to vet for a check-up though, it's a good idea to have your new pet looked over just to make sure all is in order.

well she went to the vet 3 days ago so i think she is good and her poo is all better today =) but she wont eat any frui or vegitable besides apple i had frozen fruit and veggies and i thawed them and she refuses to eat them she dsnt like fresh grapes or rasberries what should i do?

Not all parrots are going to eat what you give them. They might not like it, or they have never been offered it before. Just keep offering foods. My amazon is so picky with some foods. Like carrots, he won't eat them if I cut them in larger chunks. He just picks them up and drops them, but if I cut them into tiny pieces, he buries his head in the bowl and devours them.
