I had the most awful nightmare last night...

I was just reminded of it while doing my nightly routine with the birdies and cats. Last night I woke up in a cold sweat after dreaming somebody broke into our house and took my precious birds and beautiful Siamese! They left my two black cats (can't imagine why, lol) I could cry over it right now. Things can be replaced, pets and humans (and some heirlooms) can't. I couldn't care less if all my electronics were stolen. A laptop and television can't comfort or bring me joy the way a fluffy/feathered friend can.

I just had to share this. I'm sure everybody else feels the same way. I love my little buddies so much. My Carlisle is hiding under the blanket on my bed telling me "goodnight", Spooky is babbling about nothing in particular, Meister is dozing, and Kayak is hanging out with me preening as I type this. The cats passed out hours ago... they'll be up in a couple hours to prowl the house. I don't know what I'd do if somebody abruptly took all this from me. I hope I don't have another one of those nightmares tonight.

That is a terrible nightmare, I hate it when I have dreams likes that. Your right , none of that other stuff matters . But our family , friends and pets are priceless .
