First of all, thank you for sharing, that is so funny.

I have put bells in all of my macaws cages. Two of them now ring the bell when they want my attention. One of them started ringing it the very day I put it in the cage. The second one, it took a couple of months before he started ringing it. The third one has yet to start ringing the bell and the fourth doesn't do so either. I love bells. I'm so glad that the two are ringing the bells now. I have more to put in their cages. It is fun to be sitting in another room and have them ring their bell to get my attention. Better than screaming.

I hope Gus learns to like his bell. For now, he sure does like trying to kill it.
