first turn on the closed captioning for the story....2 minutes and 40 seconds IN!!!, I was in deep suspense....I had no idea how they would resolve this.....
The celestial rock cave strategy actually...a very fine procedure in my experience. This video is both informative and instructional 5 out of 5 stars.....and I'm not bull-sh****. This is actually good tactics.
The sparrow trio was not that scary 3/5 because of the CGI my GCC Clark said he would attack something like that, so it's not disturbing, not an R rating, pg-13 at best. But then the tickle fight I had to shield his eyes from the debauchery....the things they let on the Internet......
at point 4:34 I was intrigued by the rising climax of the plot line....finding the house on a sweet summer day with the wayward birds lack of land marks? could it be done? I WAS CAPTIVATED! Only when they chanted go inko colors in unison did I realise the power of teamwork and synergy and I had hope! ANd not for nothing followed by an EXCELLENT montage of their quest! for about 6 seconds.
At 5:31 really tore at my heartstrings with the flashback All I wanted was for that parrot to find his way home, haven't felt that way since the move rio or pauli. at 5:43 I was openly weeping.
My GCC clark dried my eyes and told me it would be ok, he'd get oranges again. Although they aren't actually oranges in japan unless supermarket import....but anyways....i think it's more of a mango thing there.
I have to admit after all the drama at 6:40 it seemed very anti climatic....but then by 6:50 I was misty eyed again.
I give it:
characters 5/5 good parrots
plot 5/5 was rivited
scene 3/5 because I'm American
Final thoughts: more different types of parrots should be in the inko colors team, it's not diverse enough, through in a macaw, an amazon, a conure a cockatiel, a ringneck etc. Oscars racist?
The climax needed more umph, I know it's a drama but some more heroic action would not go amiss.
The comedy was good and natural, not set up punch set up punch. Felt real. good job there.
I am concerned with the tickle fight scene and my birds delicate sensibilities, but I guess they have all grow up sometime.
