Well BB can sorta kinda. I need to know how to help him or if I even should. Twice he was spooked off the top of his cage first time he glided to the floor . Second time it was a crash landing. I do not live in large house so limited flying area.
Well after the second crash he now sits on top of the cage just before roosting and will Flap like crazy. Both wings. You can feel the wind off him and the cage will shake. Its so pretty watching him. Head held high. Almost makes me want to buy him a ticket back to his mother land and set him free. < I know silly.
So until Spring when I hope I can get him in a harness is there anything I can do ?

He's just exercising his wings.

It's normal. Maggie does this several times a day...

She'll even latch onto the cage with her beak and pretend she's flying. Going from the "takeoff" position to "inflight cruise."

LOL Yeah . I love watching it. I figured after the two fail take off she just remembered she could do it.
Thanks

Venus has done that with me, flapping her wings like she's flying and holding onto my finger with feet. She makes a great fan lol.

Try a greenwing on your arm doing the "I'm all wet" happy flappy routine some time... It's like sticking a hose in that fan!

Sometimes when I am done holding Willow I feel like I have just been abused lol, she flaps so furiously and so often that I get slapped in the face A LOT
