During working hours I do the banking, go to the post office, and run errands for the company.

Today when leaving, the shopping centre, I just decided not to put my radio on in my car.....
Shopping centre was extremely noisy earlier, just wanted peace and quiet.

Whilst driving past a furniture shop, towards a car dealership place, I heard a car engine revving, but like over revving. It got louder, I looked into my side mirror........

A big green 4x4 was coming up on my right hand side, speeding...
I was occupying the lane next to him. I was doing about 40kph. As soon as he was right next to me...... He had no where to turn.
I heard the most horrific crashing sound....... He was slamming into cars parked in the side of the road. He hit the first car with such a great impact...the following 6 cars were smashed, one after the other, with me driving slowly past them witnessing it all. It was like watching a dominoes set falling down. Many different car alarms were going off, the noise was absolutely deafening. People were running in all directions, trying to make sense of what had just happened.
I was in such shock, and kept driving, was shaking terribly.
Stopped at the robot, looked through my review mirror.......
Heard police sirens, almost immediately.
It was like watching a horror movie, people screaming, smoke appearing, and the noise OMG......

I drove back to work, had sugar water....
We never heard a word about it on the radio... will probably be in the local newspaper next week.

I reckon the 4x4 had been stolen, he was trying to get away, or / and was being chased by the police.

God sure was with looking over my today......
THANK YOU LORD

 OMG how terribly frightning! You had to have been shaking out of your boots. SO glad you're ok. It surel does sound like straight out of a horror movie. Metal scraping metal is such an ugly, cold sound, isn't it.

I'm so glad you were not injured. Thank God your guardian angel was riding along with you !

When things like this happen along side you and don't involve you, breathe a sigh of relief and continue to carry on. When I drive my car, these things are always at the back of my mind. There are so many things that can happen and sometimes I drive myself nuts thinking about them, or I'll think about one of my kids or husband out there, YIKES, don't even want to go THERE!

I'm so thankful that you are alright, always be aware of what's going on around you, which I bet you are!

That sounds really horrifying!! :( I am really glad you are ok!! Let us know if you hear anything in the news, I am betting it was probably stolen as well! I hope that no one was hurt .

Oh wow, hopefully or luckily, no one got hurt. Had a speed freak slam into our car a few years back near Heidelberg, she admitted it was her fault, then afterwards changed her story. You know, my baby boy was in the car and luckily buckled up. Hubby wasn't as lucky and suffered severe whiplash, a slipped disc in his neck, and years on, his shoulder is still bust. He almost rolled the car due to the speed this woman was doing, the speedomer actually climbed with the way she was pushing our car. Thank God they were okay, and thank God you are okay.

Thank God you are ok.....that is very scary!
