Few days ago I got an amazing yellow-fronted amazon boy (the right one in the photo below).

What should I notice (especially for this kind)?

(In fact, I have some parrots as you can see in my signature part.)

Thank you very much.

What is your ?. I don't know alot about yellow front amazons except they are beautiful. I have a red crowned amazon, also know as green cheeked amazon & mexican red head amazon. I wonder why there are so many names for 1 bird. Merlin is a very good talker, very sweet & loving. He is loud in the morning & evening (not to bad). I think yellow fronts are good talkers. I also believe they are one of the "hot 3" which means that they have very rocky hormonal periods when they are sexually mature. Maybe a yellow front owner will speak up & give you some pointers about your new boy. Beautiful flock!!

Every parrot has a unique personality, but Amazons in general are friendly and playful. They can be moody, are sometimes stubborn, and often noisy :D. Most types of Amazons are good mimics and potentially good talkers-- the Ochrocephala Amazons-- the ones with "Yellow" in their names-- have outstanding reputations for talking, and often for singing too. Yellow-fronted Amazons are generally great companion parrots-- the best of luck with your new Yellow-front! :)

I don't see a yellow front amazon in your signature pics... you have quite the flock....
