Hey everyone...I ran across a Hyacinth that's up for sale in Maryland if anyone is interested. I believe they wanted $8K . I think it was around 8years old...
I hope the person that gets him keeps him as family and loves him and just does not row him into a breeding situation. I know they are expensive birds but I will never for the life of me understand how someone can just sell their baby especially after 13 years. I had a Cockatoo out of an egg, raised her eight year, bottle fed her myself. I developed severe asthma to the point of not being able to handle her anymore. We even made a bird room with clear plexi door and to s of toys so she was put all the time. I realized how unfair it was to her as U2's love their people. I took two years to find the right home with the help of a bird club. I could have easily sold her as she was the perfect bird,no screaming, no plucking, well mannered and loving, instead I gave her to the family and had them give a small adoption fee to the bird club/rescue. I just do not understand. To me mney was not important, the home was.
