How to upload files in PM?

See if it will work if you click "Attach Files" under the new message section. I was just able to attach a pdf using that in a PM, I'm waiting to see if he can open itPDF, I just wanna show something to my friends to ask their opinions
ETA: He had to download it first but then it opened for him.

Ok I think there's a glitch in my phone, because I can't interact with the, um, I don't know what they're called, message icons? Like, upload image, bold, italic etc.. I would've sent a screenshot but I'm unable to.
OH, i have the same issue, I cannot upload pictures on PMs...
Are you on a phone as well?
I'm going to go ahead and let Admin know there is an issue.
Does it look like either of these? First one is in preview mode, second one is in show BB code. If it's either of them, toggle them off and the options will no longer be greyed out. (Show BB code is the set of brackets in the second picture)
There may be something else going on, but it's a place to start. I've had it happen to me before I figured out the new system.oof, I probably turned that on lol! It works fine on PC but not on my phone

JON YOU GONNA GET A TRUCKLOAD OF COOKIES.
IT IS FIXED. I had no idea i had to click on the 3dots there to disable the BB coding, I guess that is set up as a default!!! After turning it off (by going the 3 dots and the brackets) it lets me adjust my text!
however it still doesn't let me attach any files/pictures when on phone for PMs...
We have messaged the administrators about these issues today.
Are you able to attach files/pics to a PM when you're on a regular desktop or laptop computer? Or are you only having trouble doing so with your phone?
Hi Aunty Martina, sadly both PC and on phone I lack the option to attach files in the PMs.
