Green Cheek Conure
Ringo, my Cinnamon Green Cheek that I have for 2 weeks now, only ate pellets, apples and bananas. I have been trying to feed him fresh vegetables but he would not even touch them no matter what kind.

Following the advice of some of helpful posts' suggestions, I showed him how to eat the vegetables, but he would ignore them. So, I trick him to like the vegetables. What I did was starting boiling/steaming for 3 minutes some veggies like frozen green peas, fresh broccoli, asparagus, carrots with a pinch of sea salt and put in a small plate and ate them with him. Not only he loves the veggies now, but when he see them in his plate he eat them. Also, he likes cucumber and tomato, and raw red bell pepper. I will keep introducing him more fresh vegetables. I am very happy about his progress!!

So glad you tried and had success with "flock eating." He's a willing participant, so the best way to his heart is through his stomach lol!

That's great! I am still trying with mine but they love fruit better.
Check about asparagus though, I am not sure if it's safe to feed it to birds.

When our children were real small, we never gave them any veggies! Veggies were grownup food! We started letting them share from our plates!
Plus a few other simple cooking styles, like mashing brussel sprouts. Carrots also!
