We got a baby parrot, almost a month old. It is not scared of us being near it or when we feed. It does eat from our hand as well. But I have the following issues:
  • when I show my index finger to step on as perch, it bites my finger
  • It eats red Apple and Guava and salt biscuit soaked in warm water, but doesn't eat Banana, Papaw, vegetables, soaked/boiled grams or boiled rice.

To stop biting, I did try blowing on it's face but still tries biting.
I tried mixing banana with soaked biscuit and tried feeding it, but wouldn't eat.

I know carbohydrates are not good for parrots, therefore I try avoiding it by giving fruits and vegetables, but it doesn't eat. Therefore I feel sorry as it will be hungry and feed biscuits.

Pls share your, methods, tactics, tricks in over coming the above mentioned issues

Welcome and be welcomed! At 1 month old, your baby should still be on a baby parrot formula, Kaytee or other brand, parrot specific formula. For many reasons, feeding her human food, like biscuits or others, is not giving her the vitamins, proteins and other stuff that parrots need to develop normally. Please try and locate some in your country, which may be difficult I realize, but essential. Please read the thread:

It will give you essential information on bringing up your parrot until she is fully weaned and ready to start eating solid foods.

Let us know how this works out for you!
