breeding pair of gcc, Scooter & BeeBee-Sully and Bella's normal son's, Rosey- Bella and Sully's cinnamon daughter, Ella & Sunny-American budgies
So I just took the oldest baby from the nest last night and she had hard food in her crop because I believe she has a stretched crop. I got rid of the hard food with apple juice and a light massage, but she doesn't empty on time or all the way because her crop is stretched. My question is how can I take her to the vet without her getting cold? I read that a vet can give her a crop bra to wear until her muscle's get strong enough to hold her crop up. She is 10 days old so she gets chilled easily, so how can I safely take her to the vet?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
