I've made quite a few pvc t-stands that work really well, and unless you glue it, it is collapsible which makes it really easy to store or throw in a bag and take along with you if you take your parrot places. I had one for my goffin and it was really nice because I took her almost everywhere with me and I would just throw it in my "birdie bag" along with her other travel goodies and I always had one with me that I could set up anywhere, even though she usually preferred to hang out on me.
