How to hand tame a 2.5 month old tiel

Good morning everyone,
As you all may have remembered after much deliberation I took the plunge and added a 2 month old tiel to our flock. She is affectionately called Pudgie and it's been 3 weeks and although I interact with her everyday she seems scared of me and goes off in the opposite direction if I m trying to give her head scratches or millet. If I leave her alone with the millet she devours it but refuses to take it from my hand. She has a sweet temperament and whistles quite a bit particularly during our play time outside, however I ve been wondering what can I do to hand tame her? I would very much like a cuddly tiel that enjoys head scratches and interacting with me. Thank you very much. Here's a pic of my little girl. Cheers

It seems like you are doing a lot right. She just seems shy of you, not aggressive so that's pretty good. Just give it a couple more weeks, she still needs to get used to you. My aggressive cockatiel took a month or two to except millet and treats from my hands. You are doing great, and just keep spending time with her! And congrats on your new little addition!

Have you tried feeding her first thing in the morning by hand before she eats?
