Well, first of all, Salsa is a "he" ...if he were a "she" he might not be so boldok, I have to ask. Who taught her that one?
Yes. That's a CalCage 550. It was one I had in storage which Zaf destroyed several years ago (he popped 17 welds on it). When I learned in May that Salsa was coming to join my flock, I had to come up with something quickly. I took the CalCage out of storage and hauled it to the welding shop. You can see the unpainted new welds in the videos.ROFLMBO AWESOMENESS!!!! Can never get enough of that zesty Salsa
Is he in a CalCage? One piece construction, heavy as all heck? Just asking because Hunter's first cage was a CalCage and it looked identical.

Well, it may be powerful but it's also the sweetest, most gentle beak in my flock. Zaf is SO tender with hands and fingers.O-M-G !!! Popped 17 welds?
Now that is ONE powerful beak. FAINT!
Yeah, the numb area on my right thumb can attest to that (since June when Salsa let me know I was still a stranger to him at that point).I guess it would floor some people how strong those beaks are, I quit being surprised at how strong they are. They can definitely do some major damage if they want.
