How do you delete a post?

I was going to post earlier but found a prob with my video and it wouldn't load. I've been trying to delete it but can't find a way to do it?
Can anyone help please?

Going to edit, then select delete from there.

I just did a test, creating and trying to delete a post, and what I have found is if you are originating a thread you are not able to delete it!

I don't kind if it's oversight or intentional but it really needs to be corrected. Would probably clear up wasted storage space!
