My B&G's face is warmer than I've ever felt it. His face is still white and he is still very very active... he is still eating, poop looks fine... is it just me being paranoid?
I've never heard of a bird getting a fever before. If your bird is sick, he'll probably show other signs as well such as low activity, different poo, half closed eyes, etc. If he's still acting normally I wouldn't worry too much, but if you think there could be something wrong then a visit to the vet may be a good idea to ease your mind. Good luck!
P.S. I think pretty much all parrot owners are paranoid about their fids' health. I know I am!
Birds do get fevers (all warm-blooded animals with infections do) and you know because they are fluffed-up and lethargic. But the warmness you feel is their normal temperature which is higher than ours so their bodies feel too warm to us although it's normal.
