How do u clean and manage your house with macaws

Ive learned that a lot of the stuff we use is poisonous to birds. Cookwear, anything with non stick, perfume, hair dryers, clothes dryer, space heaters, heat lamps, house cleaner, candles, bug spray, deodarant, house hold cleaners, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Metal toxicity and chemicals how do u run a bird safe household what do u clean with and how do u keep the birdie smells down safely. Also as long as my bird is never in my laundry room can i keep my dryer. Thats one modern conveinece i dont want to live without. Thanks for any replies.

Vinegar will be your new best friend And I'm not much of a greenie as much as I wish I was, but I am married to an electrochemical engineer who prefers it over others agents - his work clothes come home to a vinegar bucket, and he's working with lead among other nasties. If it didn't work we wouldn't risk it - young kids as well as fids.
If you do a weekly cage clean, and a daily paper change, the smell shouldn't be too bad at all. Of course - my biggest is probably no larger than a macaw's leg

ETA: I rely on my drier. It's in a different room. All good.

Agree with itchyfeet. I find that the most smells come from their fresh food, keep bins emptied often plus I clean Plum's cage a couple of times a day, using newspaper over the grate makes it easy to do. I don't mind the birdie smell, they all have an individual smell to them. Bathing frequently helps too and is good for them.
