How do I potty train my bird?

Ive watched a lot of videos on this but it doesn’t seem to work a lot, usually my bird gives a sign when she is about to poop when we are cuddling and things like that so that I can put her away for her to poop, but this only works about 25% of the time, is there anything that I can do or that you guys did to potty train them?

Depends much on the Parrot.
Can be problematic.
Poop happens, is a reality in the Companion Parrot World.

Just be aware that training a parrot to only poop in one place, can result in issues with the digestive tract IF he/she cannot get to the appointed place when the need arises. In example if the parrot is trained to only poop in the cage, and you take the parrot for a walk or are in another room where it cannot get back to the cage, they might hold it in and that is not good.
