How do I deal with Clarke's clip

So now Clarke is out and about with the others, I open his door during the days so he can mingle and explore. He came with a very lop sided short clip to one wing. My intention was to leave it grow out, so he can have a chance of flight...given he's been rather anxious this might help him rebuild his confidence. Who'd do it that way, and who would even the clip now, before it has a chance to grow out?

In other news, he got himself 'stuck' on the floor yesterday. He accepted my hand both times for a ride back to the cage. He was desperate to get off again but still, he climbed on and accepted my offer...twice. Leaps and bounds with this one!

There is nothing more rewarding when a Parrot except that first couple of rides! That is just big smile time! Congratulations!
