How do I change my handle

Since Stewie has a new home now, I wanted to change my handle from

StewieandHolly

to

Holly the U2

A moderator may be able to help you change your username.

As for updating your profile, go to the top of the screen. Click on 'User CP' on the top row of links.

It will bring you to your own page where you can change your details, profile picture, signature, by using the links on the left.

We don't typically change usernames without a compelling reason, but you certainly do! I will send the request to our Admin, may take a few days for action.

To change your avatar, click on the "User CP" link near top of screen, about the middle of the thin blue banner. On the new screen, note the left side column of actions. Find the "Setting and Options" section, click on "Edit Avatar" and insert new image link.

should i just delete my account & sign up for a new one

PM either Scott of myself with your new User Name. Once we have the new User Name, it commonly takes two to four days for Admin to cause the change to occur. Its not simple. Once your new User Name is in place, then change your Avatar!

Continue to use your current user name until you get a message box stating either an incorrect user name or password was used. At that point enter your new User Name.

Do not start a new account as that will only slow things down even more.

Please hang tight, sorry the name change has not occurred. Partly my fault, I sent original request to the catch-all Admin rather than the specific Admin working ParrotForums. Just resent to our admin, Doug. Moderators don't have an ability to delete accounts; such request is accomplished by Admin. No need for you to lose your admirable tenure on the forums! Give it a few more days and I'll proceed further if your name change is not processed.
