How cuddly is your grey?

I read a lot about CAG before getting Armandito and I often found articles that said that they are not very cuddly or not cuddly at all. I know Armando is still very young, but he is very cuddly, he always want to cuddle(specially after playing) and he will stay as long as he is aloud. I just sit with him and pet him and he just cuddles on my chest, if I stop the petting he growls (in a really sweet way) for more.
I was wondering that maybe is just partially a myth and some of them are a bit cuddly. Is your grey cuddly, does he likes to be pet?
Cheers,

Marco

As a general rule, greys are handled on their own terms. I had a grey that loved head scritches and that's it but my little grey now is like yours. As they age their personalities come out. Perhaps they will stay cuddly as some do or they become more independent. Time will tell but I sure enjoy my Nigel. It seems he will keep some level of cuddliness!

I don't know if Tsali "cuddles" - certainly not in the way my yorkies cuddle. BUT he will sit on my shoulder and preen my hair for hours on end. He preens/pulls one hair at a time and after a while it hurts and becomes annoying. I reach up and give him a beak rub and a head scratch and try to distract him, but as soon as I quit the beak rubbing and head scratching he's back at work preening my hair one strand at a time.

If I happen to be sitting down reading the paper he will sneak down off my shoulder and the next thing I know I am staring him in the eye.

My son can cuddle ours on occasion, however anyone else attempting to cuddle may lose a finger.

Perjo will sit on my hand right before bed time and just scrunch up in a big fluffy ball and stare at me as I talk to her and stroke her down the middle of her back. She often lowers her head for me to scratch or rub under her eyes. She'll sit on my shoulder and do the same, and once or twice a week I'll lay down and she'll sit on my chest and bury her head under my chin.

Buzz could have a sign that says "Don't touch me". No cuddles with him but we are still working with him to get him to soften up.

I guess It depends on the parrot...

LeaKP I hope my Armando stays this way he also cuddles with my friend luis.

Tsali, I Know my border Collie is sometimes over-cuddly, but for a parrot I find Armando pretty cuddly...

Traprock, I know some Amazons like that lol.

DRB
she'll sit on my chest and bury her head und
thats exactly what armando does, but he does it every day and not only even with me, but you need to stroke her in the back to keep him happy, lol

Taw, maybe a little more time, is he new at home?
