- I Sun Conure who hatched March 23. 2004. I adopted her on May 8, 2005
I had a Quaker Parrot named Nikki who lived for 19 years
I grew up with Budgerigars named Screech, Zoar and Blue Baby
So I noticed that my Quaker's feet often get warm unless she has been chilling out for a bit.
I thought it may be because of activity but my Sun is super active and her feet almost never get warm. My sun is more curious and can fly whereas my quaker is not able to fly (wing amputee) and generally chills out more when out of the cage, although she did steal one of my diamond stud earrings recently right off my ear.
I mentioned this to the vet, and the vet didn't seem concerned but I often worry about my Quaker because of her medical history.
Thoughts?
